Hydroseeding

The winter of 2012 we built our own hydroseeding unit from an 8,000 litre water truck. This volume allows us to mix and spray on enough product to cover an area of 2,000m² per hour.

Hydro-Seeding is a new and innovative way of establishing a lawn by using a mixture of wood fibre mulch, seed, water and products to help bind the slurry mixture to the ground.

Because of its unique ability to hold moisture and reduce or eliminate erosion, the hydro-seed slurry mixture creates a micro-climate which is perfect environment for striking grass seed in any area.

Using sticking agents in the hydro-seeding mix will keep the seed on steep slopes in heavy rainfall.
